‘Build capacity of students to tackle disasters’


Universities must start short programmes for students to build their capacities to manage both natural and artificial disasters at the domestic and national level.  This was stated by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmed during a ceremony to launch a book on disaster management, “Taming Disasters” by Asrar Ayub at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) on Thursday.
