Red Cross lists five things people most regret leaving behind in emergencies

After decades of supplying emergency relief for Australians fleeing fires, floods and storms, the Red Cross says there are five common items people most regret leaving behind.  According to Australian Red Cross research, 80 per cent of Australians believed preparing for a disaster was important but only 20 per cent actually did it.  Red Cross national preparedness coordinator John Richardson said it was heartbreaking to see people arrive at evacuation centres and realise what they had left behind…
