It’s a buzzword in universities but what does resilience actually mean? Our overuse of the term may be causing more problems than it solves.  Resilience has been a buzzword in education for years now. Advocates say that young people need to develop the ability to cope with difficulties themselves, rather than expect others to solve their problems.
