Is the Ministry of Health playing a sick joke?

The Ministry of Health (MoH), presumably supported by the Government, has decided to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of the Feb 2011 earthquake by applying business-as-usual funding models, which were never set up to deal with the impact of New Zealand’s largest natural disaster. On a per head of population basis, Canterbury is receiving the second lowest level of funding in NZ for mental health services.
