Sydney has become the second Australian city to join the prestigious 100 Resilient Cities Network. In today’s announcement the Rockefeller Foundation has accepted 35 cities that join previous 32 cities who are now making up the growing network of cities which will be awarded $US1 million. The funds will be used for hiring of a Chief Resilience Officer and further development of resilience in the city. In the latest round, Sydney was in a company of cities such as Barcelona, Paris, Boston, Chicago, Singapore and Wellington.
